Last week I made my husband a power bowl with some tex-mex spin. My husband is always looking for something the will fill him up, give him energy but still healthy.

Changes: We used a shoulder cut for the meat. My husband didn’t like it so much the first day because he forgot to add the avocado but liked it the 2nd day because he remembered and it added a creaminess. He also recommends for heating purposes to put the rice at the bottom. If you put it on top, it will soak up some of the meats moisture and dry out the meat.
