So I got my Stitch Fix on a Friday, it was supposed to be returned and I hadn’t tried on the clothes yet and then I had surgery. Luckily, the company is great and gave me a couple of weeks to try them on. So I waited until I felt comfortable trying on clothes.
Anyway, here is how it works if you are new:
1. Fill out your Style Profile. This gives detail on your style, sizes, budget and anything else like a link to your pinterest board.
2. Once you have “ordered” your box, they will send you 5 items from a personal stylists. It is a $20 styling fee which is applied as a credit toward anything you keep.
3. Try everything on. They send you Style Cards with recommendations on how to wear your outfit. You have three days to decide what you do and do not want.
4. Buy what you like and return the rest. If you keep all 5 items, you get 25% off your entire purchase. Don’t like something, they send you a pre-paid mailing bag to drop in the mailbox. It is free shipping.
Here is what I got:
I have a new stylist this month which sometimes means you are starting from scratch but I think my new stylists did a pretty good job.
Vigross Erika Skinny Jean ($68) & Pixley Axel Colorblock Mesh Insert Pullover ($58)
Sorry the picture is blurry, my son was attacking my photographer. The top is a light sweater with a purple triangle at the neckline and a purple stripe down both arms. Not really my color choice or design. The jeans are comfy but seem tight. It could be that they are too small or I am still bloated from my surgery. I really don’t want to keep them though and it be that they are just too small.
Kaileigh Katinka Knit Dress ($48)
This dress is really comfy and my husband loves this dress. However, I am not a fan of the bell sleeves. Not sure if I can get past it.
Same jeans and Truly Poppy Jarred Lace Detail Cap-Sleeve Blouse ($58)
I love this shirt and so do my two friends who I sent these pictures to. My son did not as he said “Oh no, holes!” That is style advice from a toddler. I believe this top will be a keeper. I like that is has some sexiness without being trashy and still modest.
Mix by 41 Hawthorn Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan ($38) and the same jeans and black top.
First, I love the color. While I own a lot of cardigans, I do not own any this vibrant shade of purple which is labeled as Jewel Tone Purple. I love cardigans as a teacher because I can put on some simple pants, a tank and wear a cardigan for an easy but put together outfit.
So comment below on what I should keep.
