So my fix came and right when taxes are due. I took these pictures after a shower because I had a rough work-out. Also, please excuse some weird tan lines you might see, like on my foot.
Here is how Stitch Fix works for the new people:
1. Fill out your Style Profile. This gives detail on your style, sizes, budget and anything else like a link to your pinterest board.
2. Once you have “ordered” your box, they will send you 5 items from a personal stylists. It is a $20 styling fee which is applied as a credit toward anything you keep.
3. Try everything on. They send you Style Cards with recommendations on how to wear your outfit. You have three days to decide what you do and do not want.
4. Buy what you like and return the rest. If you keep all 5 items, you get 25% off your entire purchase. Don’t like something, they send you a pre-paid mailing bag to drop in the mailbox. It is free shipping.
Here is what I got:
So I wore the skirt for every picture, even if it did not go together. That is just showing my laziness of changing.
First is the Papermoon Rena crochet Detail Knit Top in Navy ($38) and the skirt is the Renee C Cally Pencil Skirt in Teal Green ($48)
I returned both of these. I did not like the top. I felt is made me look a little too much grandma-ish. So one thing I do is I message two friends who do not know each other for their feedback, along with my husbands. My husband and one friend liked the skirt. Both of my friends liked the shirt but my husband did not. I think because he saw it in person.
Renee C Kalley Knit Top in mint ($34)
This top was buttery soft. I so wanted to like it but it made me look bigger than I am and just seems outdated.
Jella C Hartwell Keyhole Detail Top in light pink ($36)
I kept this top. My friends did not like but my husband loved it even though he said because it looks like pjs. This shirt is comfy and looks cute with shorts which is perfect for Houston summers. It is very lightweight.
MIA Nona Laser-Cut Flats in black ($49)
I loved these shoes! I had to keep them.
