Beef Rigatoni Bake and Parmesan Chicken Tenders

I have two recipes for you today because my husband only took one picture (and not a good one at that).

First, Beef Rigatoni Bake.  Yes, I know the recipe says sausage but there is not any sausage in it so I changed the name.

Ease: 4/5. Not much to it.  Just need to time it right.

Husbands rating: 5/5

Changes: I cut the recipe as my husband does not need as much as it is asking for. I didn’t use an exact science just what felt right.  Like, I did not use two sticks of butter.

Recipe: You can find it here.

Next up is One Sheet Pan Parmesan Chicken Tenders and Green Beans.

Ease: 5/5.  My husband had bought chicken that was already cut up into tenders so I didn’t even have to cut anything.

Husbands rating: 4/5

Changes: I didn’t use the grape tomatoes because I didn’t feel like it. I also forgot the garlic. I also didn’t add any additional herbs because I was using Italian bread crumbs that already have the herbs.

Recipe: You can find it here.

Pic: None.  Guess my husband is busy at work working.

Chicken Burrito Bowl

A couple of weeks ago, I made my husband chicken burrito bowls.  This one was a big winner.

Husbands rating: 5/5.

Ease: 5/5. So very easy.  You only cook the chicken but in the oven and the rice.  It also makes a good batch.

Changes: I cut up limes and put them in a separate container for my husband but he forgot it at home all week so he did not have lime juice but loved it anyway.

Recipe: You can find it here. It is the first recipe.

Chicken Fettuccine Bake

I have a lot to say with a lot of posts so I will try to post more often but the beginning of the school year is always a mess and this year is worse than ever!

A couple of weeks ago, I made my husband the Chicken Fettuccine Bake.

Husbands Rating: 4/5

Ease: 3/5. I had a lot of pans going which is very stressful for me but it was an easy recipe to follow.

Changes: No tomatoes.  So I have a bad wife confession.  When cooking and it says add tomatoes, I always left them out because I never recalled my husband eating tomatoes.  Turns out, he does like them. You would think after knowing someone since 2002 you would know better.

Recipe: You can find it here.

September Stitch Fix

It is time for another Stitch Fix post.  I received my box on Saturday right as we were leaving for our camping trip. I requested the stylists that I have had the last couple times.

Here is how Stitch Fix works if you are new to it:

1. Fill out your Style Profile. This gives detail on your style, sizes, budget and anything else like a link to your pinterest board.

2. Once you have “ordered” your box, they will send you 5 items from a personal stylists.  It is a $20 styling fee which is applied as a credit toward anything you keep.

3. Try everything on. They send you Style Cards with recommendations on how to wear your outfit.  You have three days to decide what you do and do not want.

4. Buy what you like and return the rest. If you keep all 5 items, you get 25% off your entire purchase.  Don’t like something, they send you a pre-paid mailing bag to drop in the mailbox.  It is free shipping.

Here is what I got:

My stylists note

Papermoon Caliti Corchet Detail Knit Top– $48.  This is the back.

Papermoon top, Liverpool Adele Skinny Jean in Dark Purple- $88

Street Level Parvin Reversible Tote in Gold- $58

I love the pants and I love the color.  They fit great everywhere except when I tried to button them. Apparently my hips are a little too wide for them. The tote is being returned because I am not a gold fan and I do not like bags without zippers.  I like the top.

Le Lis Regina Aline Skirt in grey- $54

Loveappella Eagan Mesh Detail Knit Top in coral- $48

I like the skirt.  It has a stretch waist so it is easy to put on.  The skirt also has texture to it.  I like how soft the shirt is but not a fan of the mesh. I really don’t think it is work appropriate.

I think I am keeping the skirt and blue top but not 100% sure.  I have until Friday to decide. Oh and please excuse my hair, I have camp hair as I just got back. IF you want to sign up, click here.
